John and Betty Redmond started Hotsy Equipment Company in the summer of 1971 in North Glenn, Colorado.
John worked full time for United Airlines and began selling pressure washers on the side.
In 1972, he quit his job with United and moved to Illinois to become a distributor for Hotsy.
In 1989 John and Betty's son Steve joined the family business.
Upon John and Betty's retirement in 2002, Steve stepped in, where he continues today in his role as General Manager of the company.
In 2005, Hotsy Equipment Company of Princeton received the 'Award of Excellence' for outstanding growth in sales and service in the marketplace.
